Web26 sep. 2024 · Apple is releasing a new version of Carplay later this year that will take over the entire dash. My guess is this update is prepping for that new version. Apple releases new beta version in early June for iPhones and final version around September. All this to say my guess is the takeover of the screen will be more complete.
