WebbUnlike fast lenses, slow ones typically support apertures down from f/4. They don’t really perform well at low light and can’t produce a great bokeh effect. However, if you generally want to have images with a larger depth of field and don’t mind shooting with slow shutter speeds (and many landscape photographers don’t), a slow lens will do the job perfectly.
